A paperweight dainty pair of earrings that are brewing an exceptionally rare gemstone. The natural alexandrite. These were formerly identified as color change chrysoberyl I even wrote a blog post about it! However, upon submitting a loose stone to GIA they have confirmed it to be natural alexandrite. GIA Report# 5231323686. Visually they are green/yellow during daylight (or blue lighting) and at night (yellow lighting) they turn dark blue with a dusty liliac tinge. GIA's standardized lighting conditions indicate purple in incandescent lighting, they also photo purple as well. A GIA hard copy is not included in the pricing, please see me if you wish for your own GIA evaluation.
Converted from a bracelet and designed to spotlight the stone. A main alexandrite accented by two smaller stones. Choose between 1 or 2 swirls (Storm 1 or 2). Due to their lightweight nature, I can also see them also being sported in a secondary ear piercing. Due to the flat fronts, it may be difficult to pull off. Rest assured these earrings will stay secure in your ears. Your earrings may vary with different levels of articulation, for example - the Storm Design 1 earrings currently has one pair with movement on the large stone and the other pair's large gemstone is fixed.
