Lavender Haze
Lavender Haze
In ambient lighting she’s a lilac cloud, with swirls of inclusions. Her colors are non-committal. Sometimes she’s a little pink and other times she gears towards a lavender. She’s ready to romance you, place her right under some focal lighting and she will bring her star effect into action.
Her center stone is so incredibly special, what a true honor it has been to offer this to you! She’s a confirmed natural no heat treated sapphire (with asterism effect) as well as a beautiful color change from lavender to a pinky lilac. Antique color change star sapphires are truly rare and not well circulated within the market, as they tend to stay in a permanent personal collection. She’s dated to be around the 1900s, confirmed by an independent jewelry historian who is also a GIA GG. She has also noticed that there is evidence of being an alluvial sapphire. Alluvial sapphires are mined in secondary locations (meaning they were not rooted in solid rock but was transported by erosion) and they are extremely rare to not come as heat treated as they tend to not have reduced heat exposures compared to primary locations.
