Bejeweled Pendant
Bejeweled Pendant
A former Victorian brooch that’s now converted into a pendant. No need to lose sleep over this enchanting look. The circle design reminds me of a clock. When the clock strikes 12 gemstones, come meet Bejeweled, named after track #9 in the Midnights album by Taylor Swift. Every piercing sapphire has a graduating blue: from cornflower to navy sapphire facets. In between each sapphire is a smooth domed cabochon moonstone. I feel that moonstones represent the female energy the best. It represents our power, sensitivity, and hope.
It’s intriguing to me to see the mounted precious material is silver with 18k gold plated on top. The yellow color ends up looking muted, a backdrop so that the gemstones can truly shine on their own. I would love to see the pendant along with some string of pearls or perhaps with some shimmery diamonds. This is a very well made pendant! Do not fear the use of silver, as the prongs were likely hand crafted given its shaping and appearance. You are paying for the quality of craftmanship of the item as well as the precious gemstones.
